HS3A M6G

The HS3A M6G is a single rectifier diode designed as an efficient active element in various power applications. It is a miniaturized, active element concept utilizing a dielectric medium that allows a high step-up or step-down voltage. It is considered an efficient active element for use in applications such as AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, rectifiers, and solar panel installations, as well as for energy storage solutions.

The HS3A M6G\'s active element concept functionality relies on its four strategically placed electrodes, two of which are power terminals and two of which are control electrodes. This allows both alternating and direct current to flow through the diode. The control electrodes determine the voltage that the diode adjusts to. For example, with a voltage of 300V through the power terminals, the control electrodes may be regulated to adjust the diode to a voltage of 600V.

The HS3A M6G is used in a variety of applications ranging from household appliances to mission-critical telecom systems. It is able to provide active power conversion up to 200W in a single package, while providing up to 2% efficiency in most designs. In addition, the HS3A M6G is also able to provide a stable output voltage and current even in voltages as low as 100V, making it suitable for use in smaller DC designs.
