The ICE3A1065 is a member of the Infineon family of off-line switching regulators, or power modules. It is an integrated circuit with very low voltage and current capabilities, designed for high performance in a wide variety of power applications. The ICE3A1065 is suitable for use in a variety of AC/DC converters, such as power supplies for home appliances, industrial and medical equipment, lighting and automotive systems, notebook computers, and much more.
The ICE3A1065 is a single-stage AC/DC converter with a wide input voltage range of 85V to 265V AC, and a high efficiency of up to 98%. It provides a wide-range output voltage from 4.5V to 44V, and at high output currents up to 16A. This makes the ICE3A1065 an ideal choice for a variety of power applications, including AC/DC switching power supplies, off-line switchers, motor drives, and other SMPS applications.
The ICE3A1065 is a monolithic switching converter that uses current-mode PWM (pulse width modulation) control for very high efficiency and low operating cost. It features a low start-up current and soft-start, which prevents any surge currents from being drawn from the line input. It also features overload protection, over-voltage protection, automatic restart, thermal shutdown, and under-voltage protection.
