ICL3227EIA is a high-efficiency, low-power, and 3.3V level serial bus transceiver designed according to the EIA STD-232 and designed for fast data rate applications in military and industrial applications. It is a high performance, voltage-mode driver/receiver for balanced transmission lines. It can be used for direct interface with high speed transmission networks, like USB, HDMI, and UART, as well as with microprocessors, microcontrollers, computer links, and other serial port devices.
