The ICL3232ECV-16 is a single-channel, pulse-width modulation (PWM) compatible, low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) transceiver. This device is suitable for backplane, board-to-board and chip-to-chip transmission systems, and is primarily developed for Ethernet 10/100 switch applications. Through its dynamic power-saving mode, the device is able to reduce power consumption down to a low 0.4 mW per channel, even with its excellent signal integrity. Its rail-to-rail voltage swing allows for the full range of output signals to be transmitted over a wide range of LVDS outputs. Meanwhile, the device features a high-speed output driver that supports a wide range of logic devices and supports data rates up to 250 Mbps.
