For high-speed applications, the ICL3238ECAZ-T offers a robust, low-jitter, high-speed data transfer rate of up to 5.5 Gb/s and its flexible architecture allows easy customization for unique requirements.The ICL3238ECAZ-T is a high-speed, low-power, low-capacitance transceiver for use in communications, automotive, industrial and consumer applications. It is highly integrated and includes transmitter, receiver, interface and logic circuits. The interface logic includes various functions like flow control, receive/transmit signal definition, serial input/output (I/O) synchronization, signal conditioning and data decoding.The transmitter in the ICL3238ECAZ-T supports up to 5.5 Gb/s data rates, with a feedback loop to minimize jitter and guarantee signal integrity. This allows for robust, low-jitter and very high-speed data communication, making the ICL3238ECAZ-T an ideal choice for applications where high data rate and long cable length are both necessary.The receiver in the ICL3238ECAZ-T is optimized to operate over a wide range of signal levels and has low input capacitance and wide signal bandwidth to support high-speed data transfer. The receiver is also designed to operate with a low-power and low-noise floor.To ensure proper operations of the ICL3238ECAZ-T, the interface logic circuit is designed to accept/deliver packets of data in a serial fashion, allowing it to work with a variety of protocols such as SPI, HDMI, USB, SAS, iSCSI and other digital interfaces.
