IN826AID is a precision low power, low noise single supply operational amplifier used for instrumentation and high-precision signal conditioning applications. It is a 2nd generation monolithic design capable of operating from a single 4.5 V to 16 V supply with only 1.5 mA of quiescent current. These characteristics make the INA826AID suitable for many battery-powered applications.
The INA826AID has a high precision DC servo which responds to ±50 mV input offset voltages, allowing the amplifier settings to be automatically adjusted to achieve both gross and fine zero settings. With a full span gain of 1.000 V/V and 0.005 % initial DC accuracy, the INA826AID provides exceptional linearity and accuracy in most high-precision instrumentation applications.
The INA826AID has an extremely low input noise voltage of 250 nV/rtHz, enabling the amplifier to perform reliably and accurately even at very low signal levels. In addition, the INA826AID features a high open-loop gain of 130 dB, allowing it to provide excellent gain accuracy and linearity even at high signal levels.
The INA826AID also features an input common mode range of 0 V to Vcc/2 and a low signal frequency response of 16 KHz, with a –3 dB bandwith of 250 KHz. These features make the device ideal for use in a variety of signal conditioning applications, including data acquisition, test equipment and medical instrumentation.
The INA826AID’s main operating principle is based on the concept of an inverting amplifier; the amplifier has two inputs, a non-inverting and an inverting input, and one output. The amplifier amplifies the voltage difference between the two inputs and produces an output voltage which is the same as the input voltage multiplied by the amplifier gain.
The amplifier gain is determined by the value of the resistors connected between the two inputs and the output of the amplifier.
