1. Describe

The INA827AIDGK is a low-cost instrumentation amplifier (INA) provides extremely low power consumption and runs on a very wide single or dual supply scope. The device is optimized for the lowest possible Gain drift is only 1 ppm per degree Celsius at G = 5, This does not require external resistors. However, single External resistors set any gain from 5 to 1000. The INA827 is optimized to provide excellent Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) in excess of 88 dB (G = 5) at frequencies up to 5 kHz. At G = 5, CMRR exceeds 88 dB over the entire input common-mode range from the negative supply all the way up 1 V to the positive supply. Use rail-to-rail output, the INA827 is ideal for low voltage Operates from 3V single supply as well as dual supply Provides additional circuit protection up to ±18 V Input to overvoltages up to ±40 V beyond the Save power by limiting input current grade. INA827AIDGK in small VSSOP-8 package and specified for –40°C to +125°C temperature scope. For a similar instrumentation amplifier Gain ranges from 1 V/V to 1000 V/V, see INA826.

6. Application Information

Good layout practice requires placing bypass capacitors as close to the device pins as possible. The INA827 output is referenced to the output reference (REF) pin, which is normally grounded. This connection must be low impedance to ensure good common mode rejection. Although 5 Ω or less of stray resistance can be tolerated while maintaining the specified CMRR, a small stray resistance of tens of ohms in series with the REF pin can cause a significant drop in CMRR.
