INN2025K-TL is an integrated switch mode power supply (SMPS) for offline AC-DC power supplies and converters that adds programmable current-limiting and slope compensation features to traditional step-down converter designs. Started as a reverse-polarity protection+ load switch design, the INN2025K-TL is now a complete power system that takes an input voltage of up to 1500VAC and supplies a precisely regulated 1.2V to 150V output voltage at up to 5A current output.
The INN2025K-TL is ideal for powering high-performance, cost- and energy-efficient electronics such as computing, consumer, medical and other end-equipment appliances. The power system has a high-efficiency, low-ripple, high-precision step-down switching feature and comprehensive output protection, which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Working Principle
The INN2025K-TL is a synchronous buck converter with a typical constant voltage loop. The power system has a Zero Volt Quick Turn-On (ZVQTOR) feature, which enables it to turn on within 0-V DC input, allowing it to retain its preset output voltage even when the power fails or input voltage drops to zero.
The main components in the INN2025K-TL’s synchronous buck converter include a master control IC, two MOSFETs, a current-sense resistor, an inductor, and two capacitors. The master control IC eliminates the need for a secondary loop, providing better voltage regulation and stability.
