The IR3310 is a monolithic 8 amp, 8 switch power distribution switch that provides high-side or low-side distribution of up to 8 independent bucks, or all 8 channels may be used together. When used together, the channels can provide up to 8 amps of power distribution for multiple buck or boost converters or a combination of both.The device provides an adjustable current limit, thermal displacement, and overvoltage protection to suit the load profile and to protect the power system from surges and shorts. The IR3310 utilizes a self-programmable digital control logic to accurately program current, voltage, and temperature limits without the need for external components.
