It provides 2A peak output current into capacitive loads as well as short circuit protection. The device also includes several protection functions such as over voltage protection, under voltage protection and crossover current protection which makes it ideal for a wide range of motor control applications.The IRS4426SPBF is designed for interfacing with the popular H-bridge configuration usually found in DC motor control applications. It can be used in commercial and automotive applications such as robotic arms, automatic doors, home appliances, and HVAC systems. The device can be used to control up to four bidirectional half-bridges for driving a variety of brushless DC and step motors.The IRS4426SPBF is a low-voltage, low-cost, four-channel, full H-bridge gate driver IC with a wide range of features.
