.ISL3150EIUZ is an ultra small, low-power logic-level shifter used to transmitte and receive data through different types of logic levels. It is designed as a 1 bit interface that supports different logic voltage supply ranges. This device is used in applications where devices with different supply voltage require interface to different communication bus. It supportsI2c and UART interface that uses different logic levels.
The ISL3150EIUZ has a driver and a receiver module that works on different logic level supplies. The driver module contains four channel drivers and the receiver module contains two channel receivers. All four channel drivers have individual logic level translation between two logically separated logic channels. The output level of each channel is adjustable for each driver individually. The two receiver channels also have individual logic level translation capability between two logically separated logic channels.
The ISL3150EIUZ is equipped with high-speed ESD protectiondiodes to protect the I/O pins from ESD. It also has a patented thermal protection circuit that monitors the device temperature when it is operating at high temperature. This feature allows the device to operate reliably in high temperature environment without fail. In addition, the ISL3150EIUZ also has built-in over-current protection circuitry to prevent any accidental damage due to overload.
The primary application of the ISL3150EIUZ is in high-speed data transmission and reception applications.
