ISL3176EIBZ is a highly integrated fiber optic transceiver that can communicate at high data rates of both Multi Mode and Single Mode fibers. It is a serializer/deserializer (SerDes) that operates with 25Gbps signals, and can be used for long-distance point-to-point communications. It is indispensable for the next generation of high-speed data communications applications, such as 40/100G Ethernet and 8K/16K video streaming applications.ISL3176EIBZ is designed to be a low-power, low-cost, and low-footprint transceiver that is compatible with Multi Mode or Single Mode Optical Fibers. It has a low power consumption of only 2.5W and a small form factor allowing for easy integration into existing systems. The ISL3176EIBZ offers a high-speed differential serial interface, which supports 25Gbps data rates and is capable of transmitting data up to 5 km in Multi Mode fibers and up to 10 km in Single Mode fibers.The ISL3176EIBZ is a transceiver device that meets the requirements of the IEEE 802.3 Clause 49 standards for Ethernet. It uses an advanced laser modulation technique, which allows the optical sub-system to be compact, affordable and highly reliable. This technology enables the device to maintain excellent performance in terms of bit error rate (BER) and sensitivity over the full length of the optical link. The serial interface can be configured to support different transmission rates within the 25Gbps range.The ISL3176EIBZ is designed with a built-in Multi-Mode/Single Mode transceiver circuit that supports bi-directional data transmission. The transceiver circuit uses an advanced modulation technique to achieve high transmission speeds and long link-range over conventional optical fibers. The transceiver contains two parts, a transmitting (Tx) and a receiving (Rx) sub-system.The Tx sub-system converts the serialized data from the serial interface into an optical signal. It consists of a Laser Driver which drives the laser diode, and an optical modulator which modulates the laser diode output. The Tx sub-system further includes a bias controller and temperature compensation circuitry, which maintains the operating point of the laser diode and allows it to output a stable optical power regardless of the operating temperature.The Rx sub-system converts optical signals received from the fiber into electrical signals. It includes an optical receiver with an integrated PIN diode, an amplifier, an equalizer, and a clock and data recovery (CDR) circuit. The Rx sub-system further contains circuitry to adjust the operating levels of the receiver and the amplifier, which improves the sensitivity and lower the bit-error rate. The Rx sub-system is also designed to detect the wavelength of the incoming optical signal for improved compatibility with Multi-mode and Single mode optical fibers.The ISL3176EIBZ is ideal for applications such as long-haul communications and point-to-point communications that require high data rates and long link-range. It is a highly integrated, cost-effective serial optical transceiver designed to meet the requirements of today\'s high-performance, high-speed communication systems.
