ISL33003IRT2Z-T is a member of Intersil interface family and is designed to interface two low-voltage (1.14V to 3.3V) double-data-rate (DDR) SSTL-18 circuits with a 130Ohm differential termination. The device is targeted for applications where the differential input swing is reduced due to step-down voltage translators, voltage regulation and termination networks. ISL33003IRT2Z-T is the 3.3V version of ISL33003IRH2Z-T. It is ideal for use in high-speed communication applications such as Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, Infiniband and Serial ATA.

ISL33003IRT2Z-T is a single-ended-to-differential signal buffer with 0.015Ω/58R load network. It is equipped with an enable pin for powering it up and down. This allows the device to save power and prevent acoustic noise leakage. Additionally, the enable pin permits one or two buffer devices to be enabled, thus reducing power consumption in different applications. The ISL33003IRT2Z-T has two separate outputs for differential signal management in the receiver and transmitter ports for both high-speed and low-speed data rates.

The device includes logic to reduce the output signal swing of the source device at the low-speed data rate. This reduces the signal swing at the input of the transmitter circuit, thus improving signal integrity.
