ISL4260EIR is an integrated quad differential line receiver and includes a VDD regulator circuit and ESD protection, making it suitable for high-speed communication interface applications. The working principle of the ISL4260EIR quard differential line receiver is as follows:

First of all, the input signals of the four channels are received as differential signals by the four differential inputs. This differential signals is then detected with a differential amplifier, which will detect any DC voltage differences between the differential signals. Then, the differential amplifier output is further amplified to obtain a higher voltage difference, which will be used to power the device. After that, the amplified output is sent to a biasing circuit, which will ensure that the output voltage is within the acceptable range. Finally, the output signal is sent out to the application.

The ESD protection circuit of the ISL4260EIR quard differential line receiver uses a dual-gate MOSFET structure. When there is no signal the gate voltage of the MOSFET is set to a low voltage, which will stop the flow of current through the gate.
