ISL4270EIR

ISL4270EIR is an integrated logic-level translation bridge with integrated overload protection and overcurrent monitoring. It can convert between LVECL and HDMI signaling. The transmitter provides 5V / 3.3V or 1.8V / 1.5V / 1.2V selectable output voltage and supports output data rates up to 1.25 GHz. The receiver supports LVECL input data rates up to 1.25 and up to 3.3 V CMOS logic outputs. Working Principle

ISL4270EIR works by converting the LVECL and HDMI signal levels. It has a LVECL input receiver and a HDMI transmitter. The LVECL input is received and the input level is monitored. The input level is compared with the adjustable maximum-eye-opening voltage (MEOV) and, if it is exceeded, the LVECL input is rejected. A signal receiver is then used to convert the LVECL to logic level data output. The HDMI transmitter then takes the logic level output data and converts it to a HDMI signal level. This signal is then output to the HDMI transmitter. Also, the ISL4270EIR has adjustable de-emphasis and adjustable operating speed features.
