IX2C11P1 is a gate driver which is used in power management integrated circuits (PMICs). It is a voltage-mode half bridge driver that is capable of driving power MOSFETs with up to 8A specified output current. The IX2C11P1 is designed for a wide range of applications, such as motor control, power supply and conversion, low-voltage lighting, and energy management. It is suitable for DC-DC converters from 6V to 40V, as well as providing other signal level conversions.
The device is housed in a seven-pin SOP or DIP package, and is designed to be compatible with most I2C-based PMICs. It has an integrated low-side gate driver, two independent power switches, and a single-channel steering logic block. The on-die temperature measurement circuitry provides enhanced temperature protection. The integrated current-sense amplifier provides precise current regulation and over-temperature protection.
