The JANTX2N7370 is based on the NPN BJT principle, which means that it is a current-controlled current source. Its output is the current flowing from the collector of the NPN to the emitter. This current is a function of both the DC base current and the AC input signal applied to the base.When the base voltage of the JANTX2N7370 is increased, the current flowing from the collector to the emitter increases, amplifying the input signal. This is known as the “Current Gain” of the transistor. The JANTX2N7370 has a maximum current gain of 100, meaning that for every 1mA of current passing through the base, 100mA will flow from the collector to the emitter.When the base voltage of the JANTX2N7370 is decreased, the collector current decreases, reducing the amplified signal and causing the transistor to enter into a "cut-off" mode.Conclusion
