When the voltage across any of the capacitors exceeds the reference voltage, the thyristor is triggered and the motor is switched off.The integrated circuit also allows the user to program various conditions or parameters which can trigger the switch off of the motor. For example, the temperature of the motor can be monitored and if it exceeds a certain preset value, the thyristor will also be triggered. Additionally, the integrated circuit can also be programmed to monitor the vibration of the motor, and if a preset threshold is exceeded, the motor will be switched off.The KER425UL offers a high degree of protection for AC motors and provides a cost effective solution for over-current and short circuit protection.
