<p>KIT33701DWBEVB evaluation board is designed to explore the feasibility of a given system application and is mainly used for DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line SMPS) applications. The board is based on TIDA-33701DWBEVB reference design kit which uses the Texas Instruments TPS560020DDAR synchronous buck controller IC to provide highly efficient, low output voltage boost converter as well as a synchronous buck voltage converter with current mode control. </p><p>The application of KIT33701DWBEVB offers a 90V DC input voltage range and high peak current (up to 8A). The board is also designed with high-efficiency output including a boosted output of 12V with 1A ten-bit resolution regulating current and a Vin to Vout of 2V with 4A peak current in voltage regulation using continuous current mode control. Additionally, the KIT33701DWBEVB evaluation board can support isolated power designs that need to operate at high frequencies up to 2MHz.</p><p>In addition to its wide voltage range and high peak current, the KIT33701DWBEVB evaluation board also offers an adjustable soft-start and current limiting mode that prevents overcurrent conditions and short-circuit conditions. In addition to offering the adjustable soft-start and current limiting feature, the board also includes a dielectric isolation rating of 1000VAC.
