KIT34712EPEVBE is a high performance, mid-voltage step-down evaluation board from Texas Instruments. The board is designed to evaluate the performance of the company’s TPS43020EVM-135, a fixed-frequency single-phase synchronous buck converter. This control IC operates over a wide input voltage range and its output voltage can be precisely regulated from 0.6V to 10.5V. The board comes with an onboard oscilloscope and voltage probes for easy measurement of output voltage and current levels.This evaluation board’s main application is in high power DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS designs. The board has an input voltage range of 36.2V to 72V, and it can deliver a maximum output current of 10 Amps given a proper heatsink.
