KU4125N is a kind of relay designed for reversing motors, which is extensively applied in electricity, mechanical equipments and other industrial control systems. In general, the relay switches two-phase electric circuits in AC applications. KU4125N is mainly composed of three parts, i.e. the contactor, the coil and the protective part, where the contactor is the main switching component of the device. With the application of mechanical, electrical and magnetic principles, the contactor can connect two terminals of AC power supply to control the operation of electric motor reverses.
The contactor is a main component of KU4125N that can shuttle among two sets of pole contacts when conducting electrical energy. It has three sets of poles. The N poles connected with the AC power, the moving contact poles, and the non-moving contact poles which are connected with the electric motor. The N poles, moving contactors and non-moving contactors are connected in series and, with the application of electrical principles, the electric current of the contactors shuttle among the two sets of pole contacts.
The coil acts as the driving force in the operation of KU4125N. Magnetic fields will be produced when the electric current is applied to the coil. Through different combinations of the magnetic fields, the force which causes the contactor switching can be determined. It\'s an important part that combines mechanical and electrical principles for the operation of the relay.
In addition, KU4125N also come with some protective parts. A built-in arc extinguishing device will be triggered when the contactors carrying electric current are disconnected, which produces an arc for protecting their welding. There is also a thermal switch that can detect the temperature of the contactrs, which can protect them from being damaged due to excessive heat. Other than the arc extinguishing device and the thermal switch, KU4125N may also be equipped with some complementary switching parts for higher working efficiency.
In conclusion, KU4125N can be used in many electrical control systems and it is mainly composed of contactor, coil and protective parts.
