KUE363 is a kind of enclosed field mounted type automatic transfer switch (ATS) with voltage rating of 690V AC. It is suitable for regular and emergency switching circuits of power systems source of dual-power distribution, so that it can accomplish automatic transfer of load load between the two sources. The ATS is an electric switch installed in power systems that would detect a fault in the power system and automatically switch from the normal power source to the backup power source, and vice versa. The working principle of KUE363 is as follows.

KUE363 consists of a contactor, an electromagnetic actuator, and a voltage detector, and the voltage detector consists of two parts namely, the voltage detection controller and the voltage measurement range. When the normal power source is on, the voltage detector will input the voltage of the normal power source into the voltage detection controller. If the normal power source is faulty, the voltage detection controller will automatically start the contactor to mediate a power conversion. After the voltage detection controller has identified the voltage of the backup power source, the voltage detector will input the voltage of the backup power source into the voltage detector for comparison with the normal power source voltage.In the case of the transfer of power source, the voltage detection controller will automatically control the contactor and actuate the electromagnet in order to output the voltage of the backup power source to the load.
