The KX11327015 is a clock buffer, driver, and receiver which can be used in a number of applications. It is a single-ended output device with and asynchronous differential output that can be used to both drive and receive high-frequency signals with low jitter and very low noise. It is designed to operate in a wide range of conditions, including temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, and to tolerate supply voltage up to 20 volts. The KX11327015 is designed to take the output of an oscillator and then transmit the signal to a variety of devices that may be operating on different voltages and at different frequencies. It has three main functions: 1) buffer and fan-out the signal, 2) level shift and level translate it, and 3) reject noise. It can also be used to distribute a single clock source to multiple output devices, allowing them to be synchronized with one another. The KX11327015 consists of two main parts – a receiver and a driver. The receiver is optimized to detect waveforms over the wide range of voltages and frequencies that the device is capable of handling and can detect signals up to 20 GHz. The receiver compares the signal to a reference voltage from the bias supply, which is generated from the internal bandgap reference. The output of the receiver is then fed into the driver which converts the signal into a differential output for transmission.The KX11327015 can be configured for various output levels and can be configured to be either high impedance or active pull-down.
