L2004D3RP

The L2004D3RP works by controlling the firing of TRIACs. The device measures the voltage across the TRIAC to determine when to fire or extinguish the TRIAC. It also monitors the current through the TRIAC and adjusts the firing angle to maintain a safe current level. The device continually adjusts the firing angle to maintain the desired setpoint. The L2004D3RP is equipped with a protection circuit that monitors the TRIAC for faults and immediately shuts off if the current level exceeds the safe operating range.

The L2004D3RP can be used in a variety of applications. It is suitable for controlling AC loads with low speeds (below 3 Hz) such as lighting, motor control, power factor adjustment, light dimming, heating, and other AC load applications. It can also be used to control higher speed loads, such as used in variable speed motor drives, conveyors, and other industrial automation applications.
