The L6235N is an integrated power stage solution for low voltage three-phase brushless DC motor (BLDCM) applications. The device offers: high power density, excellent power efficiency and integrated protection for current limitation, motor thermal detection, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, as well as short-circuit protection. The device is designed to be driven by microcontrollers and can be operated with an external pull-up or pull-down PWM. As a motor power supply and control solution, the L6235N is ideal for applications such a home appliances, office automation, and even automotive.

The L6235N can operate from a wide, 6 to 36V DC, input range. The package is a TQFN rated at 0.5mm pitch and suits medium to high volume production. It comes with a maximum current capability of 5-amps, driven by built-in Nmos power switches. PMOS technology also ensures fast switching to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
