The L6932D1.8 is a low side, low voltage linear voltage regulator (PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear). It offers a wide range of input and output voltages with high accuracy and low noise performance suitable for a variety of applications. This regulator is designed to provide smooth regulation of both linear and switching power supplies in low power applications.The L6932D1.8 operates from a supply voltage from 2.6V to 5.5V and provides a regulated output voltage from 1.2V to 3.5V. It provides up to of 50mA of output current with a maximum quiescent current of only 3.2 µA, making it ideal for use in battery powered devices. It features a wide input voltage range, low noise, fast transient response, over-temperature protection and thermal shutdown.The L6932D1.8 works on the principle of regulating an input voltage by changing the output voltage to match the input voltage. It does this by comparing the output voltage with a reference voltage and then adjusting the current going through it to maintain the output voltage at the precise level set by the reference voltage.
