The L7908CV-DG is a monolithic integrated three-terminal regulator designed to provide a regulated output voltage of 5V with a minimal external component count. It is a linear voltage regulator, similar to 78xx and 79xx series voltage regulators, and is designed to drive output voltages up to the 36V.
