The LF347N/NOPB is a dual, low power, general purpose operational amplifier (op amp) specifically designed for use in instrumentation, buffer amplifier, or other linear applications. LF347N/NOPB Working Principle
The LF347N/NOPB is a direct-coupled, differential amplifier with gain determined by external feedback components. At the heart of the device is a differential amplifier with two active inputs, each of which can accept input signals of up to ±32V. These two inputs are then compared and the difference between them is amplified depending on the amount of external feedback. Depending on the polarity of the feedback components, the LF347N/NOPB can be configured as a unity gain follower, an inverting amplifier, or a non-inverting amplifier.
The LF347N/NOPB also features comprehensive over-voltage protection, which helps provide reliable operation in the presence of short circuits or power surges. As with all op amps, the LF347N/NOPB must be connected to a proper power source in order to function. Additionally, external feedback components must be properly connected in order to determine the amount of gain.
