LM339QT is a quad precision comparator integrated circuit (IC) that provides ultra-fast voltage comparison within a range of 0.2 volts (V) to 9.9 V. It can compare the voltage values of both the positive and negative supplies at the same time, allowing designers to make the most of their voltage-comparison designs. This IC also comes in a variety of packages, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.The LM339QT offers many of the same features and benefits that LM339N offers. It is a monolithic integrated circuit and has a wide power supply range from 4.5 V to 16 V. Its wide response range is 0.2 V to 9.9 V. Its input offset voltage is 0.2 mV, and its output voltage is between 0V and Vcc-1. The recently developed LM339QT provides 0.4 mV precision in comparator offset voltage with a large common-mode dynamic range, fast response times, and small size for demanding applications such as battery protection and power supply design.The LM339QT can be used in two different ways. The first is as a standard comparator, where two or more input signals are compared, and depending on the result, the output is either high or low. The second is as an open-collector comparator, where the output is high when the first input is higher than the second input and open collector when the first input is lower than the second input.One of the main applications of the LM339QT is in battery protection circuits. It is also used in power supply design, where it is used to provide faster transient response time and enable precision voltage comparison while limiting power consumption. This IC feature high input impedance, low offset voltage, and fast response time.
