The working principle of LM3407EVAL/NOPB is based on a high-side current-mode gate driver with a single-loop current-regulation control. The voltage applied at the VOUT pin is then amplified and regulated to match the current through the output. By controlling the voltage applied at the VOUT pin, the current through the output is thus regulated. The feedback signal is generated by a low-side current feedback loop to ensure a constant LED current.
