The LM43603PWP is a DC DC switching Regulator in a Power Module package from the Texas Instruments range of Voltage Regulators. The LM43603PWP comes with proven switch mode design technology and several features to enable superior system operation for its applications in medium to high power designs. It has low Ripple/Noise (R/N) at load transients, which makes it well suited for applications such as industrial, computer, telecoms and audio amplifiers. It also provides high efficiency, very low noise and a wide input-voltage range, making it ideal for 12V, 24V and 48V applications.

In addition to its DC DC characteristics, the LM43603PWP also has integrated protection features, including an arc fault protection circuit and a robust Open Load/Over Current protection circuit. It also boasts a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and a high-temperature- and overvoltage shutdown circuit. These protection circuits ensure that the LM43603PWP is able to provide reliable operation under harsh conditions.

The LM43603PWP is based on a buck converter control architecture, with current mode control and voltage mode control (VMC) options, as well as an adjustable pre-bias start.
