The LM95071CIMFX/NOPB is a temperature sensor which uses Analog and Digital outputs for accurate temperature measurements. The LM95071CIMFX/NOPB can measure temperatures from -40°C to +125°C and is housed in an 8 pin SOIC package. This makes it ideal for applications such as consumer goods, automotive, and industrial applications.The device has two outputs, an analog output and a digital output. The analog output provides a temperature-dependent voltage which is proportional to the temperature. The digital output is a pulse-width-modulated signal which can be used to monitor temperatures or as a temperature error indication.The LM95071CIMFX/NOPB works by using an integrated temperature sensor and a thermal diode to detect any changes in temperature. The thermal diode is a semiconductor junction which generates a voltage when the temperature changes. This voltage is then converted into a digital signal and then transmitted to the analog and digital outputs.The device has been designed to deliver an accurate temperature measurement over a wide temperature range. It is insensitive to supply voltage fluctuations and requires only a single power supply of 4.5V-16V.
