The LMP8603QMME/NOPB (8603) is a Low Voltage, Low Power, High Voltagelevel Differential Amplifier (HVDPA). It operates from 1.65 V to 5.5 V, providing extended common mode range of 3.135 V~7.19 V. Working Principle
The 8603 HVDPA provides differential voltage amplification. The device is composed of two separate and symmetrical operational amplifiers. The inputs to the two amplifiers are the differential pair, Vin+ and Vin-, and the single ended supply is Vdd. The output of the two amplifiers is the complementary differential pair, Vout- and Vout+. The differential gain is given by the following equation:Gd = (Vout+ - Vout-) / (Vin+ - Vin-)The 8603 amplifies the differential voltage as if it were a single ended signal and produces a single ended output. The output voltage swing is the difference between the supply voltage and the minimum common mode voltage, which is usually limited by the input offset voltage.The 8603 has two power supply pins, Vdd and Vss. Vdd is used to power the two amplifier sections. Vss is the ground of the amplifiers. The device also has a common mode sensing pin, which senses the input common mode voltage. This pin allows the 8603 to maintain a constant output common mode voltage regardless of the changes in the input common mode voltage. The 8603 has a low input noise density of 0.7 nV/√Hz. This is achieved by implementation of low noise topology and implementation of appropriate compensation techniques. The 8603 also has a high input impedance, which allows it to receive differential signals with a wide dynamic range. The 8603 also provides very low power dissipation and is ideal for battery operated systems. The 8603 has a high power gain bandwidth product which helps it achieve high performance even in a wide bandwidth. The bandwidth of the device ranges from DC to up to 10 MHz.
