The LMR12010YMKDEMO/NOPB evaluation board is part of a series of boards used to evaluate the performance of D/C or A/C off-line switching power supplies. The board has many features that are essential in the judging of the efficacy and efficiency of the supply. It includes switches to control the region of operation, shutdown pins, a full featured power control controller, and an analog feedback loop.
The LMR12010YMKDEMO/NOPB board operates with either a single-phase AC mains voltage or a given DC voltage source. It is designed to be triggered and run from either an external PWM signal or its own on-board controller. Using the external PWM signal allows the operator to control the switching frequency and operation mode. The board also supports Synchronous Rectification (SR) mode, soft-start, and differential primary single ended secondary (DP-SES) operation.
