The LMT85LPGM is a three-terminal digital temperature sensor and RTD IC. It is designed from a sensitive high-accuracy temperature detection circuit and a dielectric isolation system with a feedback loop. The main features of the LMT85LPGM include high accuracy, low power consumption, excellent linearity, low cost, low noise and low offset.

The LMT85LPGM temperature sensor IC can be divided into three main categories—Analog, Digital and Fuzzy Logic. The most commonly used Analog versions of the LMT85LPGM sensor IC have a 0.5 V output, but they are not as accurate as the Digital or Fuzzy versions.
