The LMV331IDCKRE4 is a low-power precision CMOS Rail-to-Rail Input single comparator ideal for monitoring signals in low-voltage systems such as those powered by 2.7-5.5 V batteries. This comparator is designed to offer zero power consumption when in the stationary state and very low power consumption when switching, making it a great choice for battery operated applications. With low drift and offset and low input bias current, this comparator is also suitable for use in portable equipment and applications where long battery life is desired.

The LMV331IDCKRE4 operates on a single 2.7-5.5 V power supply and accepts input voltage ranges from -22V to VCC + 22V. This Rail-to-Rail Input single comparator has an ultra-low input current and low offset voltage, making it ideal for applications such as low-power data acquisition, over-temperature and drop-out detection, on/off control and power supply monitoring in the low voltage range. The device is supplied in a 6-pin SOT-23 package with only two external components, making it an ideal choice for space-constrained applications.

The LMV331IDCKRE4 also has a low quiescent power consumption and an extended operating temperature range (-40C to +85C). This device has a high immunity to noise thanks to an input voltage range of up to 22 V and an ESD rating of 2000V (HBM).

The LMV331IDCKRE4 is a precision CMOS single comparator suitable for many low voltage applications. It has an ultra-low input current, low offset voltage, high immunity to noise and very low power consumption, and is ideal for applications such as temperature sensors, data acquisition, over temperature and drop out detection, on/off control and power supply monitoring. Its extended operating temperature range and low power consumption make it an ideal choice for battery operated applications.

The LMV331IDCKRE4 works by comparing two voltage inputs against each other. The input voltage signals are compared by their relative levels and the result is a logic level output. The comparator is designed to be used with two voltage sources. If the voltage of either input is greater than the voltage of the other, the LMV331IDCKRE4 will output a logic level to indicate which input has the greater voltage. If the voltage levels of the two inputs are equal, the output will be in a high impedance state and will not output a logic level. The output level of the comparator is capable of swinging rail-to-rail which allows for accurate voltage comparison and level translation of low voltage signals.

The LMV331IDCKRE4 provides excellent accuracy with very low drift and offset and low input bias current, making it ideal for space-constrained low-voltage applications such as power supply monitoring, temperature sensing and voltage level translation. It is also suitable for portable equipment and applications that require long battery life. As its Power-off Hysteresis and low power consumption make it suitable for battery operation.
