The LMV422MM/NOPB has a highly integrated design which includes a transconductance amplifier as well as a voltage and current feedback to reduce noise and ensure stability in the closed loop state. The current feedback is used to attenuate the 1/f noise floor at high gains, while the voltage feedback provides frequency compensation over an extended range of gains.The amplifier also includes common mode rejection and isolation of the inverting and non-inverting inputs. This is done by a differential amplifier which is used to sense the differential signal between the inputs. The differential amplifier signals are then used to provide a feedback signal for the voltage and current feedback circuits. The differential amplifier is also used to reject common-mode signals, ensuring high performance and reliable operation over a wide range of signal levels.The part also features short-circuit current limiting, overtemperature protection and reverse polarity protection.
