The LMX2370TM family is a cost effective solution that provides high-performance clock generation with low jitter and flexible features. The series features a low-noise programmable PLL, integrated voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), and four global buffered outputs. The programmable PLL allows the user to easily modify the reference clock, VCO range, charge pump current, and output frequency. Additionally, the output configuration can be programmed between single-ended, differential, and HCSL outputs.
A key feature of the LMX2370TM series is their low phase jitter (pj). Phase jitter is the cumulated effect on signal integrity caused by the clock ’s inherent imperfections, such as phase noise, reference noise, fractional-N spurs, and modulation. The total phase jitter of the LMX2370TM series is typically only 0.27 ps RMS, making this series the best choice for applications that require the highest level of performance and frequency flexibility.
