The LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB is a high frequency, quad-channel, low power voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) designed to address a wide range of application fields. As a member of the new family of synchronous interface PLL clock generators, the LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB provides flexible, low power alternative to discrete, crystal, and thermally-driven oscillator designs.

The LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB is an advanced PLL integrating a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) with a programmable frequency divider and multiple channels for output clock generation. It utilizes two or four internal VCOs that are independently selectable to output high frequency programmable clock signals. Each VCO has a frequency range from 176.32 MHz to 1.315 GHz. Each input and output of the LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB can be configured for either differential or single-ended applications.

The programmable divider is designed to provide frequencies up to 179.2 MHz with divided outputs such as 10/2/2, 10/2/3, 10/3/3, 16/2/2, etc. The LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB also incorporates a programmable phase shift function to produce extremely precise phase differences between multiple outputs, eliminating the need for external trimming of frequency and phase circuits.

The LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB is designed for applications in consumer, industrial and communication equipment such as Smartphone, tablet and optical products. It is packaged for surface mount applications and features a 2.5 x 2.5 mm, 25-lead LQFP package with an exposed die pad. It also has an On-chip programmable output phase shift from 0° to 90°. It can operate at supply voltages ranging from 1.8V to 3.3V, with a maximum current consumption of 8mA. The LMX2541SQ3320E/NOPB is designed to be compatible with industry standard GPPLL Clock Synthesizer designs, making it ideal for high performance, low power design.
