DC to DC converters provide a very interesting and flexible way to convert one DC voltage to another. The LMZ30602RKGR DC to DC converter is a high efficiency dc-dc device designed to provide up to 8 Watts of power. It offers high power conversion efficiency with wide input and output voltage ranges. The LMZ30602RKGR is a monolithic integrated circuit composed of five different blocks: the switch-mode power supply stage (SPS), the power factor correction stage (PFC), the synchronization receiver, the synchronous rectification stage (SRS), and the sequencing stage.

The switch-mode power supply stage (SPS) of the LMZ30602RKGR is the core of the power conversion system. It generates a pulse-width modulated (PWM) output and regulates the output voltage to a predetermined value.
