LMZ30606EVM-003 is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the features and performance capabilities of the TPS563203/TPS563205 step-down converters and the LM2877 fast transient response buck regulator. This evaluation board is ideal for assessing the performance and features of the TPS563203 and TPS563205 step-down converters and the LM2877 Buck Regulator. It is also suitable for evaluating the performance of DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications.The LMZ30606EVM-003 evaluation board consists of an input power supply, two TPS563203/TPS563205 step-down integrated circuits, two LM2877 Buck Regulators, control circuitry, display circuit, and various other components. The input power supply can be the DC power supply (3.3V-22V), or the input can be provided by a Mains AC power supply (90-264Vac). The board was designed to be flexible and has four output options that can be selected by jumpers: Output 1 is driven by the TPS563203/TPS563205 step-down converter set with an adjustable voltage, Outputs 2-4 are driven by the LM2877 fast transient response buck regulator with either a fixed 3.3V, 5V, or 12V output. The output voltages of Outputs 2-4 can also be adjusted via the onboard potentiometer. The LMZ30606EVM-003 evaluation board makes it easy for users to evaluate the performance of the TPS563203/TPS563205 and LM2877 step-down converters. It features a wide input voltage range, programmable current limit, and EMI/RFI filtering for protecting against transients and electromagnetic interference, which make it suitable for many AC/DC and DC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications. The evaluation board also features several other features such as adjustable switching frequency, programmable soft-start, programmable overvoltage protection, and programmable soft-stop, among others.The LMZ30606EVM-003 evaluation board is designed to demonstrate the features and performance capabilities of the TPS563203/TPS563205 and LM2877 step-down converters. It is suitable for evaluating the performance of DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS applications, and can be used to develop, debug, and optimize designs. The included jumper settings can be used to configure the board for evaluation of the various features and performance parameters, including output voltage, output current, efficiency, load regulation, transient performance, ripple, and more.
