1. Describe

The LMZM23600SILT integrated inductive power module is designed for space-constrained industrial applications. It offers fixed output voltage options of 5V and 3.3V, as well as an adjustable (ADJ) output voltage option that supports a range of 1.2V to 15V. The LMZM23600SILT has an input voltage range of 4V to 36V and can deliver up to 500mA of output current. This power module is very easy to use and requires only 2 external components to implement a 5V or 3.3V output design. All aspects of the LMZM23600 are optimized for performance-driven and low-EMI industrial applications with space-constrained requirements. Open-drain, power-good outputs provide a true indication of system status without the need for additional monitoring components, saving cost and board space. Seamless transitions between PWM and PFM modes and a no-load supply current of only 28 µA ensure high efficiency and excellent transient response over the entire load current range. To easily adjust the output current, the LMZM23600 is pin-to-pin compatible with the LMZM23601 which supports 1000 mA output current.

6. Application Information

The LMZM23600SILT device is a step-down power module typically used to efficiently convert high DC inputs voltage to lower DC output voltages with maximum output current up to 1 A. The following sections describe Use these blocks to create a simple design program for DC/DC converter designs.

7. Typical application

The LMZM23600SILT module requires few external components to complete a complete DC/DC converter design. If the output voltage of the application is 3.3 V or 5 V, the fixed output voltage option of the LMZM23600 device can be used. In this case, the design is as simple as adding just one input and one output capacitor. The adjustable output voltage version of the device allows the user to set the output voltage between 1.2 V and 15 V by adding two feedback resistors to the bill of materials.
