1. Describe

The LMZM33602RLRR power module is an easy-to-use Integrated power solution that combines a 2A step-down DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs, shielded inductors and passives into a low profile box. This power solution requires only four external components and eliminates loop compensation and magnetic components from the design process. The 9mm × 7mm × 4mm, 18-pin QFN package is easy to solder to printed circuit boards and allows for compact, low profile, point-of-load designs. A complete feature set including power good, programmable UVLO, pre-bias start-up, overcurrent and thermal protection make the LMZM33602 an excellent device for powering a wide range of applications.

The LMZM33602RLRR is a synchronous, step-down, DC-DC power module. It is used to convert higher DC voltage to lower DC voltage with a maximum output current of 2A. The LMZM33602 can be configured in an inverting buck-boost (IBB) topology, with the output voltage being inverting or negative with respect to ground. The following design procedure can be used to select components for the LMZM33602. Alternatively, complete designs can be generated using WEBENCH® software. When generating designs, WEBENCH® software utilizes an iterative design process and accesses a comprehensive component database.
