By combining the BCMOLA process with a clever internal circuitry and clever thermal design, the LP3962ET-5.0/NOPB is able to deliver high current, low-noise, low-ripple and stabile and accurate output voltage. The device is designed to operate over a wide temperature range of -40˚C to +125˚C and a wide input voltage range of 4.0V to 25.5V.

The LP3962ET-5.0/NOPB will accept both positive and negative input voltage, providing accurate and stabile output voltages. It is a self-contained monolithic integrated circuit, with only two external capacitors, C1 and C2, and a 0.47uF or larger input capacitor or 10uF or lower output capacitor for power supply stability. Moreover, the LP3962ET-5.0/NOPB includes “Trans-Impedance” regulated output for protection against accidental short circuits. The output voltage can be adjusted by external resistors R1 and R2 connected to the FB pin.
