The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB is a voltage regulator designed by Texas Instruments and part of the LP5907 series. It is part of the Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) Voltage Regulators Linear family, and it is designed to offer a compact and effective solution for voltage regulation. The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB is a one-chip power supply solution that incorporates the efficient buck regulator architecture with a built in adaptive body diode, making it a highly integrated system with low standby power and exceptional transient response.The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB operates from a 3.0V to 5.5V input range. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 3.6V and is preset to 3.0V at the factory with an accuracy of ±10mV. It can provide up to 150mA of continuous load current over the specified temperature range. The output voltage is quasi-linear controlled, and its response time to transient loads is typically less than the 100µs, making the LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB an ideal solution for mobile computing applications.The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB is protected against over-current conditions as it can support input under-voltage lockout and output over-voltage protection. It also has a power-OK signal that indicates that the output voltage is within the specified operating range.The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB is an ideal voltage regulator for mobile system power management applications. It offers excellent transient performance and a very low quiescent current (1.5mA). It can be used for a variety of applications, such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), digital cameras, portable media players, and USB powered devices.The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB voltage regulator operates with a single external resistor and requires no additional external components. The part can be put into an auto-harmonic mode by connecting the auto-harmonic signal pin directly to the input supply. This allows the part to detect and switch over automatically to the optimal power-saving mode (either PFM or PWM) depending on the load conditions.The LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB is available in a TSSOP-14 package and is RoHS compliant. It is available in tape and reel packages of 3000 parts per reel and operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.The efficacy of the LP5907MFX-3.0/NOPB makes it an ideal solution for mobile computing applications.
