The LP8345CLD-1.8/NOPB works as an adjustable or constant output for providing positive voltage for the system. If a difference is present, it will drive power internal NPN Power MOSFET to increase or decrease current flow, thus adjusting VOUT to achieve the FB voltage. In case of higher current, the current limit will clamp it and provide thermal protection as well. This output voltage can be adjusted to a reference voltage by connecting a resistor divider between the FB pin and ground (GND).
