Aluminum electrolytic capacitors (AEC) has long been the most commonly used type of capacitor. They are widely used in virtually every electrical device from small applications such as mobile phones to large industrial applications. The LQR2V822MSEG capacitors are ultra-long life aluminum electrolytic capacitors with a rated voltage range of 16V to 500V and a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C. This series of aluminum electrolytic capacitor is mainly used in high voltage applications, especially in applications with high peak impedance.Its working principle is based on electrolysis, electrolytic migration, and the Faradays law of electrolysis. The anode is placed in a conductive electrolyte, while the cathode is connected to the anode by a small width. When a voltage is applied across this width, the electrolyte ionizes releasing electrons at one electrode and taking electrons from the other, creating an electrical current. This current flow creates ions in the electrolyte which enables the transfer of the capacitors energy from one electrode to the other.
