In particular, it is used in applications such as battery powered systems, wide temperature range system design, power management and control, ADC/DAC reference voltage source, +5 V to +45 V regulator, 0-5 V reference and low noise signal sources.</p><h3>Working Principle</h3><p>The LT1009ILP is a low temperature coefficient 3-terminal voltage reference operating over a wide input voltage range of 1.4 V to 45 V and a wide temperature range of -55° C to +150° C. The device incorporates an internal voltage reference that produces a fixed, temperature compensated output voltage. The internal output buffer allows for very low output impedance while reducing noise and providing fast response to changes in output voltage caused by dynamic loads.</p> <p>The LT1009ILP current requirements are very low, typically only 8 µA, which allow its operation at very low supply current levels. Furthermore, the output regulation is such that the output voltage changes less than 2 mV over line regulation, load regulation and temperature ranges. This delivers a very highly accurate and stable output voltage.</p>
