The LT1076HVCT7#PBF is a switching DC-DC power supply which regulates the output voltage by controlling the ON and OFF time of the switching circuit at a constant frequency.When operating in the continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), the LT1076HVCT7#PBF comprises of two primary circuits. The input voltage from the power supply is fed to an inductor and a capacitor, which filters and transfers it to the output. The switching circuit contains an N-channel MOSFET and a start-up circuit. Once the power supply is enabled, the start-up circuit starts oscillating and turns on the MOSFET for a certain amount of time.During the ON period of the MOSFET, current flows from input to output via the inductor and thus charges the output capacitor.
