The LT1513-2CR#PBF is an integrated synchronous flyback converter, which is designed specifically for single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer battery charging applications. This device is a part of the Linear Technology PMIC - Battery Chargers family, offering designers a highly efficient solution with robust features to meet the expanding list of battery charging requirements, such as current averaging and constant-current/constant-voltage (acc/avr) charging. It includes an internal high-side MOSFET, performing synchronous rectification, so the entire converter fits in a very small space.

The LT1513-2CR#PBF features a unique “floating” architecture, enabling a very low input current ripple, eliminating the need for an input filter. The device’s output voltage is also adjustable from less than 2V up to 6V. Other features include internal loop compensation, programmable soft-start, 2-wire programmable current limit or voltage foldback, and programmable feedback voltage pin.
